Cepeda-Abueg Martial Arts has emphasized training for children and teenagers throughout the history of the studio.  Even now, the Junior Kenpo class size makes up over 70% of the total class enrollment. 

The Jr. Kenpo classes are conducted 3 days a week including a 30-minute private on Tuesdays.  A typical workout will include a warm-up session, forms, techniques, and sparring.  The children are encouraged to demonstrate their skill level individually in front of the class.  Sparring is done with gloves and appropriate headgear.  

In 1998, the studio started a "Pee Wee" class geared toward children ages 4 - 8 years of age.  This class is conducted on Saturday mornings from 11:00AM to 11:45AM.  The person that was responsible for teaching this age group was Sifu-Maestro Frank Marino.  The class curriculum is geared toward basic Kenpo movement, stances, blocks, and strikes.  Pee Wee students are combined with the Jr. Kenpo classes on Thursdays.
